2022 Fellowship Workshop

One of the benefits to our Social Impact Fellows is a day of coaching to our cohort from industry leading brothers, followed by a reception with Fraternity and Foundation Leadership and interested participants .

This year the event will take place in the Washington, DC, or Bethesda, MD, area.

11am – Registration

1pm – Workshop Sessions (see below)

6:30pm – Reception

Dress Code: Comfortable Business Attire is appropriate for all activities

Registration Fees and Stipend:

The workshop is FREE of charge to the invited cohorts, facilitators and key staff. For other attendees the fee is $85 to defer direct costs and includes lunch, workshop and the reception. Each individual is responsible for travel and lodging however the Foundation does have some limited funds to support anyone who may need assistance. Transportation and Lodging:

Bethesda is easily accessible by Washington Raegan International Airport or Washington Dulles International Airport. It is a 30-45 minute drive from there to Bethesda. Amtrak services the area with Acela and regional service from the Northeast Corridor.

Please make arrangements to be at the workshop at 11am and depart on Saturday morning.

An avid traveler and adventurer, he has sailed transatlantic, cycled from St. Petersburg Russia to Olso, Norway, rafted whitewater rivers across the US and piloted his own aircraft hundreds of hours. He is an advocate of, and has worked on behalf of many, local & international humanitarian causes. Lessons of leadership, integrity, responsibility, and honesty are the hallmarks of his messages. Among his many accomplishments, in 2005, he emerged from a field of 30,000 contestants spanning 120 countries to earn the title of Toastmaster’s World Champion of Public Speaking.


Dr. Elise Walton, PhD

Elise Walton is a principle at Board Compass | Organization and Governance Consulting LLC specializing in Governance Assessment, Governance and Organization Design, Strategic Change Management, Leadership Development and Coaching. Brother Walton has a BA in Economics and Psychology, MA in organizational psychology, and a PHD in organizational behavior from Harvard Business. She has consulted with a laundry list of the world’s must successful companies including AT&T, Xerox, Ford Motor Company, Hewlett-Packard and many more before progressing to various board and executive leadership fellowships and leadership positions.

Patrick Gilrane
Psi ’84, (Hamilton)
 
Long-serving Foundation board member and Psi chapter leader, Patrick Gilrane is a successful businessman and a master at leveraging your personal network to build stronger effective relationships. Patrick Gilrane is Chairman of the Senior Executive Advisors. Mr. Gilrane is a seasoned entrepreneur, CEO and operator. He founded the Wentworth Group in 2002, a private investment firm that targets investments in lower middle market consumer, industrial manufacturing and distribution companies. From 1994 through 2002, Mr. Gilrane was an Executive Director of business development at Blyth Inc. [NYSE:BTH]. He is currently a board member of Antenum LLC and Northeast Battery and was previously a director of Limo Liner, Lancs Industries, Schultze Asset Management, Eclipse Candles Ltd. and Wax Lyrical Ltd. Mr. Gilrane is Chairman Emeritus Psi Upsilon International Foundation, Chairperson of the Affinity Group Career-Mentor Program at Hamilton College, and Board Member of the YPO Fairchester Gold Chapter. He earned his B.A. at Hamilton College and M.B.A. at Columbia Business School.
