The mission of United States of Adventure is to strengthen our communities by transforming young Americans into global citizens through self-directed international journeys.
Bradford writes “The Spanish I learned abroad became central to my career working with immigrant communities in Nashville through the Boy Scouts of America, even giving me the skills to establish the first Spanish-speaking Scout Troop in the city. I experienced firsthand how intercultural education at a young age creates leaders, problem solvers, and people who aren’t afraid to step into the unknown. “
Will writes “I believe that true international travel, when done deeply and intentionally, is one of the most transformative experiences a young person can have. It fosters independence, adaptability, and, most importantly, leadership. My lifelong mission is to ensure this program continues to grow and thrive long after me, inspiring generations of young Americans to discover the world in order to discover themselves.”
