Support the Fund
The Charles and Lynn Ann Werner Fund within the Psi Upsilon Foundation will support the programs that form exceptional brothers within our chapters, universities, and communities. Underwriting the great programs that Chuck and Lynn nurtured and guided during a lifetime of service, the fund will serve both undergraduate and alumni brothers.
Specifically, the Fund will underwrite meaningful programs such as the annual Leadership Institute at convention (July), part of Archons Academy (January), and the annual Social Impact Fellowship Workshop (March).
The Fund will perpetuate Chuck and Lynn’s love of Psi U Conventions through the special naming of the Werner Convention Reception prior to the Convention Banquet, the occasion which brings so many brothers together each year, in one location, for a festive conclusion to the convention activities.
WHY AN ENDOWED FUND?
The Psi Upsilon Foundation fuels the very best of our brotherhood into the future. This translates to activities across the entire Fraternity such as leadership training, scholarships, fellowships, and scholarly publications. A Fund of this unprecedented magnitude will:
Showcase the leadership of the Omega Chapter within all of Psi Upsilon and beyond.
Honor the impact both Chuck and Lynn had on the University of Chicago and the entire fraternity, especially the Executive Council and professional staff.
Ensure the Fraternity can remain focused on its values for future chapters and generations of brothers to come, knowing the income from the Werner Fund will always be there to fuel our mission and programming.
As a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, whose purpose is to support the academic and leadership development of our members, the Foundation staff and leadership are well-equipped to steward such a fund within our endowment and ensure the funds are put to good use in perpetuity.
