29th Archons’ Academy sets up 2023!

The Archons’ Academy is an annual event started in the 1990s that allows our chapter presidents to network with one another and share best practices while learning valuable skills to assist them during their time as president. Topics included Psi Upsilon’s history and values, conflict resolution, communication and delegation, risk management and more. We’d like to thank the 20 Chapter Leaders who made the trip to Atlanta for this wonderful event! Read The Full Recap Here.

From the Archives: Psi Upsilon Sweethearts.

We thought Psi Upsilon Sweethearts would be a fitting topic around Valentine’s Day! The idea of Sweethearts in a fraternity is an old tradition that has taken on many forms over the years. It wasn’t uncommon for a significant other to get “pinned” or “lavaliered” by a fraternity member as a symbol of their relationship. And one of Psi Upsilon’s favorite songs helps immortalize this tradition. Read more here.

2023 Brotherly Fellowship Gatherings

Psi U is excited to host a series of smaller venue and in-home gatherings in February and March of 2023 throughout the country, with a focus on Florida. With generous brothers opening their homes to enjoy fellowship and catch up with our beloved fraternity, we aim to make these events complimentary to brothers living or staying in the area. Feel free to attend any of the gatherings you wish, registration is required. Successful events have been concluded in Ohio and Washington DC this month.

Details for these events are still being developed, but there are upcoming events in Seattle, California, Atlanta, and through Florida. A full listing of these events can be found below and will be posted on psiu.org.

Consider becoming a sponsor of an event at $300 donation to the Foundation. Contact Bethann Taylor at Bethann@psiu.org or 317-571-1833 x102 if you have any questions or interest in helping.

2023 March Challenge

Our annual March Challenge starts Thursday, March 23th and runs until Monday, March 27th . During this tradition chapters compete against one another for bragging rights and the chapter with the most donors to the Annual Fund will be crowned the champion! In addition, generous donors have stepped up to match gifts, so your donations will have double the impact during the challenge!

In 2022 we were able to raise just under $50,000 for the Annual Fund with 209 brothers participating. The Gamma Tau Chapter at the Georgia Institute of Technology was victorious with 46 donors. The Omicron and Eta Chapters had strong showings as well. This investment by so many generous alumni assists the fraternity specifically with their growth program.

If you would like to make a matching gift please contact Director of Administration Bethann Taylor at Bethann@psiu.org or 317-571-1833 x 102

More information about the March Challenge will be hosted at PsiU.org/MarchChallenge2023 beginning in March.
